Lagos Life Game, explained.
What it is, where to play, and how to make your first moves in the city.

A virtual life in Lagos.
Lagos Life is a free browser life simulation created by Shalom Rayhamen. You create a character, find somewhere to live, choose work and look after everyday needs. Other players share the city. The setting is Lagos, Nigeria. The official description mentions danfo rides, amala at Shitta, nights at Quilox and NEPA taking the light.
Think about what you want your character to do on the next visit. A home is somewhere to recover, but it also brings a recurring cost. A job gives you a work schedule to think about. Going out can mean spending money that you had planned to keep for something else. You can plan carefully or let an outing decide the character's story. Start with a day you understand before choosing an expensive goal.
The city includes social features, so another person's choices can be part of your visit. That is a different experience from directing an entire household on your own. If the attraction is meeting people in a Nigerian setting, the shared world matters as much as the needs bars. If you mainly want to build houses or control a family, the comparison guides will help you decide whether another life sim suits that interest better.
The official terms require players to be 18 or older. The setting and economy are fictional, even where they borrow real place names or the naira symbol. Use the game for its characters and stories. A virtual property price does not tell you what a real Lagos home costs, and a screenshot of Game Naira does not show money somebody can withdraw.

Abuja Life explained
Find the official Abuja Life game link and understand Nandatech's browser game, its city features and how it differs from Abuja travel in Lagos Life.
Choose a guide for the question you have.
If you have just seen the name in a video, start with What is Lagos Life? It explains the game before asking you to learn menus. If you already want to try it, the official-link guide gets you to the right address and explains the difference between signing up and logging in. A first-time player can then follow the beginner guide through the opening routine.
Download questions usually come down to a device choice. The download guide explains the verified browser version and what a web-app icon means. The Android and iPhone guides handle the actual installation controls. Read the one for the phone you have; following an Android menu on an iPhone will leave you looking for an option that belongs to a different browser.
Once you have a character, choose the guide for the next decision. Jobs explains applications and shifts. Money helps you work out what remains after essential costs. Housing looks at home choices and the move-in total. Needs lists the recovery actions confirmed in the public help. Read the page for the decision in front of you, then follow its related links if another problem needs attention.
If the entry screen will not load, use the loading guide before trying another account or installer. For a different game altogether, use the alternatives page. The Abuja guide also resolves a common mix-up: Nandatech's Abuja Life is a separate game, while Lagos Life's own help describes Abuja as a destination within its world.
Browse the guide directoryThe game link.
No download needed.
Open lagoslife.app in your browser. The public entry has a city preview and offers Sign up free and Log in. Choose the option that fits your account. This guide does not host the game or handle passwords; Play Lagos Life opens the official site in another tab. Keep that tab available while reading a tutorial here.
The confirmed version works through the web. You can try it before putting an icon on your phone. On Android, use Chrome's installation controls; on iPhone, use Safari's Add to Home Screen action. The installed view still opens the online game. Keep an internet connection available, and save the homepage address as a bookmark if you want another way to return.
A download button on an unrelated website does not establish an official release. We have not verified a separate native App Store, Google Play or APK edition. The download guide explains how to check a new claim against the game developer's own links. There is no need to search for an installer before trying the browser entry already linked here.
As of 8 October 2026, we have not verified an official native App Store, Google Play or APK release. Use the verified browser entry.
You still need an internet connection. A home-screen icon does not make the game offline.
Start with a simple routine.
For the first visit, aim to learn what your own character needs next. Read the home choice and its rent before moving through setup. Find the wallet, then look at the available work options through Phone → Jobs. The official help separates choosing a job from attending it: use Go to work at the scheduled time. Keep the schedule where you can find it again.
The needs labels are hunger, energy, fun, social, hygiene and bladder. The public help points to a fridge or cooker for food, a bed for sleep and a shower to freshen up. Inspect the actions your character can actually use. Knowing where to recover makes it easier to choose an outing instead of finding yourself far from the action you wanted.
Before spending freely, reserve the rent shown for your home. The home-selection text checked for this guide says rent is paid every Saturday. Then consider food and the travel you intend to make before earning again. Use the amounts displayed in your own account. The budget guide has a worksheet for those values, so you can make a plan without borrowing somebody else's salary screenshot.
A useful stopping point is knowing your next work opportunity and your next recovery action. You can return with a clear purpose rather than repeat the setup questions. If a control gives an unexpected message, read that message before pressing it again. The specialist guides explain how to narrow down a job, housing or browser problem.
Read the full beginner's guide- Open the official site and create an account.
- Choose a home with its rent in mind.
- Check your job's pay and schedule.
- Recover your needs and reserve Saturday rent.
Which kind of life sim is yours?
Choose an alternative by the part of play you want to spend time on. The Sims 4 puts creating Sims, furnishing homes and directing household stories at the center. Its base game is free to download, with additional packs sold separately. It is a separate EA game; searching for Lagos Life Sims does not mean you need a Sims account to enter Lagos Life.
inZOI is the option to investigate for detailed characters and visual world building. Check its current Steam requirements before buying, especially if you are comparing a browser game with software installed on a computer. BitLife takes another approach. Its mobile life stories depend on text and decisions, so it suits an interest in consequences more than walking around a city.
Brookhaven RP is the social roleplay choice in our selection. It runs through Roblox and gives players houses, vehicles and a city in which to make their own stories. The comparison lists platforms and purchase models. A familiar theme such as careers or housing can work quite differently once you learn another game's controls.
The Nigerian setting may be the reason you searched in the first place. In that case, read the Abuja Life page before jumping to a household simulator. It introduces the standalone game at abjlife.app and its developer, Nandatech. Treat its account, economy and help as its own system. Lagos Life's controls and rent routine should not be carried across as if the two games shared rules.
